Fury Interview

How close to completion is Fury, and when would you estimate it will be ready for release, give or take a month?

Picture this… Fury & Duke Nuke’em Forever combo pack… That would ROCK!!!

You can thank Joseph Hewitt my irreverent senior designer for this answer. Here’s the text log from our internal IM program :)

Adam: Why do people ask questions like this... we can’t actually tell them...
Adam: How close to completion is Fury, and when would you estimate it will be ready for release, give or take a month?
Adam: "give or take a month"
Joseph: tell them we are going to release Fury in a combo pack with Duke Nuke'em Forever
Adam: heh
Adam: good idea

Well, we had to ask now didn't we!?

The game uses Unreal Engine 3 - will it require a high-end video card?

Our goal is to ensure that Fury runs and plays just as well on the latest P4 CPU and uber nVidia graphics card as it does on a P4 2.0 with a GeForce 4 Ti card. The minimum acceptable framerate on all specs is the same, and we’re ensuring that the renderer and art assets give players the necessary video options to maximize frames and fun.
