World of Warcraft: The Secret Mounts

Black Qiraji Battle Tank

The rarest of all mounts in all of Azeroth, the Black Qiraji Battle tank is available only after completing a very long quest chain, and even then only for a very short period of time. This mount is available only during the opening of the Gates of Ahn’Qiraj, a one-time server event. Once the gates have opened, no one will ever be able to get the mount again on the server.

A Dwarf on the Legendary Qiraji Battle Tank.

During the War of the Shifting Sands, the Gates of Ahn'Qiraj closed, entrapping the insect menace within the city. Only through the construction of the long-lost Scepter of the Shifting Sands can the scarab wall surrounding the city be breached, allowing adventurers access to the dangers, and treasures, held within. Given the incredible amount of coordination, effort and reputation required for certain farming quests associated with the scepter, only the most elite guilds (and often only a few players) will be able to complete the “Bang a Gong” quest and receive the Black Qiraji Resonating Crystal that summons the mount.

If you don’t already have this mount, and your server already has opened Ahn'Qiraj, your only chance is to join a new server and work towards the “Bang a Gong” quest. Even then, you will only have a 10 hour window during the 10 hour war with which to receive the Black Qiraji Battle Tank. Good Luck!
