Saltwater Snapjaw Ebay “Buy it Now” Prices: $225-$400
The Snapjaw Loot Card.
The last, and perhaps the ultimate loot card is the Saltwater Snapjaw. This turtle ally has a scratch-off code that gives players access to a unique, in-game turtle mount. Judging by the high price this card is fetching on ebay, it is clear that this is the rarest and most sought after loot card. Who wouldn’t feel special riding around Stormwind on a $400 giant turtle? This mount is unique in that it can be used by a player of any level. Unfortunately, to avoid any sticky issues regarding buying useful gear with real cash, the turtle mount only moves at regular running speed. It is fit, of course, that a turtle would be the slowest mount in the game.
The Turtle Mount.
With the success of this brilliant card game to computer game crossover, it seems natural that more loot cards will be made available in future expansions, although no information has been released yet. For those that weren’t lucky enough to get one of these cards in their box or pack and don’t want to shell out the cash to purchase one on ebay, you can still “purchase” trinkets using the UDE point system. While I was very critical of the point system in an earlier article, Blizzard and Upper Deck have tweaked the costs, placing the trinkets a little closer to a realistic price-point. Until the next segment, where I will cover these loot purchases, I’ll be hunting through packs looking for my “Golden Ticket” just like many of my fellow WOW players.

Why Comic Book Video Games Suck Comic book characters have often come to life on the big screen in very successful adaptations. However, turning comic book stories into video games often ends in disaster.
