GWN: Compared to other Xbox Live Arcade offerings, RoboBlitz has fared generally well with the critical media. How have fans responded to your game?
JG: Our fans love the game - we're very happy with how enthusiastic most people seem to be about RoboBlitz. However, what we're also finding is that a lot of people on Live Arcade are looking for more of a casual experience. RoboBlitz doesn't quite fit in the Live Arcade mold, because it's more of a traditional gaming experience. There's a learning curve, some new and unusual gameplay mechanics to master, and a combination of puzzle and action genres all in one game. Hopefully its presence on Live Arcade will attract a lot more hardcore gamers to the platform who otherwise might not have necessarily checked out a downloadable game service.
GWN: What can you tell us about the downloadable multiplayer component for RoboBlitz?
JG: There will be two game modes: a deathmatch mode, and a game mode with platformer flavor. We're also including a couple of extra items for fun beyond just the new game modes and maps.
GWN: Are you planning additional downloadable content for RoboBlitz after the multiplayer pack releases?
JG: Actually, the RoboBlitz dashboard themes and gamer pics will be released before the multiplayer expansion. They've been in the queue for a while and hopefully they'll be out in time as gifts for your sweetie on Valentine's Day.
GWN: Have you considered bringing RoboBlitz to other next-gen platforms outside of Xbox 360?
JG: We don't have any immediate plans.
GWN: What's next for Naked Sky Entertainment on the PC and console front?
JG: I wish I were allowed to tell you, but my boss censors all my interviews.
