While there have been a lot of games released where the unique features of the Wii remote have been "tacked on" there are other games where developers are starting to reveal the true power the Wii remote holds.

Games like Elebits, WarioWare, Rayman, Excite Truck, and even Zelda to some extent have shown how with the Wii remote implemented properly it can add a whole new dimension of fun to any game. Just this week a news piece from Fortune 500 magazine revealed an audio translator chip that is inside the Wii remote which Nintendo hasn't fully disclosed yet!
Ever since the Wii remote and the Nunchuk were announced FPS fans have been craving for this control scheme to realize it's full potential. Red Steel got close but left a lot to be desired. On August 20th we will finally see Metroid Prime 3, which could redefine the standard control method for FPS games on console systems, and it's only possible on the Wii.

Other games like Mortal Kombat: Armageddon and Manhunt 2 show how the Wii remote really makes you more involved with what's going on in the game. Instead of just pressing some random button combination for a fatality in Mortal Kombat you make motions with the Nunchuk and Wii remote that are similar to the fatality that you want your character to perform.
