Following the disappearance of one of their friends, a group of students decide to investigate their high school.

This brave step will plunge them into a hell they will never forget. But, no matter what happens, they must stick together if they want to throw light on the dark and sordid history of their school.

Dreamcatcher, the folks that brought you Painkiller, teams up with French Developers Hydravision to take you back into the darkness with the survivor horror game Obscure.

In the demo you play as Kenny who is at his school entirely too late. After finishing up working on your jump shot in the gym, you rush to answer your ringing cell phone. While you are on your phone someone or something snatches your bag. After standing there stumped, Kenny decides to investigate around the school to find his bag. Kenny’s meddling leads him into an underground section of his school.

It is there where you will find a tortured student. They both decide that their school is too freaky to be exploring at night, and decide to leave. Also included are in-game video clips showing you things to expect when the full version arrives.

This is basically an interactive trailer. You really do not get much concept of the story behind the game. This is instead a teaser to show off the beautiful graphics, Ragdoll physics, and unique gameplay. This demo also shows a quick peek of what sets this game apart from the others in its genre, as you are able to get a taste of the co-op that will be available when the game is fully released this March.
