The first impression that you get from playing Rayman Raving Rabbids is exactly right. From the very first introductory cutscene you get the feeling that it is a very, very strange little game, and it most certainly is.

In a nutshell, our hero Rayman is captured by rabbids, which are essentially evil little bunny rabbits. He has to compete in a coliseum and the events he goes through in order to escape range from disco dancing to flinging cows to making sure that rabbids have plenty of privacy while going to the bathroom.

After three out of four events are completed, he goes into a special event that generally involves either shooting rabbids with plungers (my personal favorite) or racing them on warthogs. If you succeed, you get a plunger and go back to your cell until you decide that you're ready for more minigame fun. This game is a great showcase for different uses for the Wiimote, and playing it with friends is definitely fun, even though it can be a little embarrassing. Some of the games are more fun than others, but there is definitely something for everyone in this title. I heartily recommend this title for anyone with a Wii that is looking to have a good time and really get to utilize the innovative controller of the Wii.
