Xider To Publish 12 Titles This Year

DS and PC titles including Bone, Ankh: Heart of Osiris, and more.

Xider are an exciting new publisher who have just revealed that they have 12 titles planned for release this year on both Windows PC’s and Nintendo’s portable DS handheld. Eurogamer covered the story listing the following games as already having been announced:

- Bone, a previously download only PC title from Telltale Games
- World Basketball Manager 2008, developed by Icehole
- Ankh: Heart of Osiris, an adventure title developed by Deck 13
- World of Chaos, an RPG from Brainfactor Entertainment

As of yet Xider have not revealed any specific titles for the Nintendo DS, however we can confirm that Bone will not be on the list. Following the somewhat ambiguously worded report from Eurogamer that seemed to suggest otherwise, Wired got in contact with the publisher for confirmation.

“As of this moment, Xider only has plans to release the Bone game in Europe, along with a passel of other PC and DS titles, such as Basketball Manager 2008 and Ankh: Heart of Osiris. “

So no Bone for the DS, at least not for the time being, instead the title will be receiving a full retail release for the PC as opposed to its previous independent internet-only release. Be sure to stick with GWN for more updates as and when we get them.
