A recent copy of a Japanese gaming magazine has exclusively revealed a brand new Ninja Gaiden title for the Nintendo DS.
Recently there have been a fair few rumors going around suggesting that Team Ninja are working on a Nintendo DS game for some time now, today it seems those rumors have been confirmed. A Japanese gaming magazine has exclusively revealed “Ninja Gaiden: Dragon Sword”, a “3D polygon action game” is being developed for Nintendo’s popular handheld gaming console.
Early translations and scanned images from the magazine (which you can see above this article, though the quality is rather poor unfortunately) suggest that the game is played using the touch screen and with the DS itself held on its side like a book!
GoNintendo are reporting that movement is achieved by tapping the touch screen at the desired location you want to move too, double jumping allows for jumping and other stylus commands will be used for combat. Currently those are all the details we have, be sure to check back with GWN soon for more information.
