Earlier today 1C in conjunction with Battlefront.com announced that the upcoming World War Two real-time strategy title, Theatre of War, has gone gold ahead of its release in just over a week’s time, on the 19^th of April. 

Developed by the renowned team behind IL-2 Sturmovik, Theatre of War “depicts stunning battles of World War II between 1939-1945. Command hundreds of different unit types in 5 historical campaigns (US/UK, Soviet, German, French and Polish).” 

The game will initially be made available via download through BattleFront.com followed by a ‘physical’ release a couple of weeks later, (although not through stores so as to avoid conflicts with Battlefront’s "independent publisher" policy). 

Additionally, a demo will be made available in a few days time, we’ll let you know when that happens and will hopefully be able to provide you with a direct download right here at GWN.com!
