Virgin Radio Out On PS3/Wii

Virgin Radio becomes the first UK brand to release music stations on PS3 and Wii.

Virgin Radio has today launched its music service across both Playstation 3 and Nintendo Wii, becoming the first UK brand to do so.

Supplementing Virgin Radio are Classic Rock, Groove and Xtreme, as well as the chance to purchase CDs, concert tickets and download various music tracks. Still, according to mad.co.uk, you will be unable to actually listen to music and play games simultaneously.

Virgin are keen to attract the younger generation with these features, who the company believe use consoles as their primary source for their media entertainment needs.

Unfortunately for Xbox 360 owners, the consoles lack of browser functionality means that users will be unable to join in this latest media onslaught.
