We have a fresh batch of screenshots from the Wii title previously known as ‘DK Bongo Blast’.
Previously known as DK Bongo Blast, Donkey Jet is the new name for the GameCube title that was skipped forward a generation, and is now due for release on the Wii later this year (June 28 in Japan).
To coincide with the name change, Nintendo have also revealed that the bongo-centric control scheme has been replaced in favor of a Wii Remote and Nunchuk combination, though the exact details have yet to be confirmed.
Recent artwork and screenshots have revealed that a number of classic characters from the Donkey Kong franchise will be making an appearance. Examples include Diddy, Dixie, Tiny, Lanky, Cranky and Funky Kong as well as King K. Rool, Kritter Kip and Klass.
Famitsu have managed to obtain a fresh batch of in-game screenshots from Nintendo, and you can now find these in the game’s image gallery right here on GWN. Just click on the thumbnails above this article to be taken straight there.
