Rumor: Xbox Repairs To Include Better Cooling

Home : News : News Story

Xbox users in France are reporting extra cooling on their recently refurbished consoles.

After a couple years of seemingly every Xbox 360 owner experiencing the red rings of death at least once and being forced to send their console away for costly repairs, Microsoft may finally have a solution in the works. A handful of gamers in France are reporting that when they received their repaired consoles, inside was a series of new pipe-cooling heat sinks.

Could this be a sign of things to come, or is this incident isolated to France? No one knows yet, but keep your eyes peeled to GWN as we investigate further and seek comment from Microsoft.

It's about time Microsoft did something to address the massive, ongoing Xbox 360 failure issues once and for all.
