Nintendo's DS and Wii consoles continue to prove popular in Europe, as the latest charts from Spain and Germany reveal.
Nintendo is continuing to prove immensely popular with consumers throughout Europe, with both the German and Spanish charts dominated by software for the DS and Wii consoles.
The company managed to take hold of seven positions in the top ten, with Pokemon Diamond and Pokemon Pearl leading the charts in both countries, followed by DS title More Brain Training.
The original Brain Training is at four in Germany, followed by SingStar 90s at five and World of Warcraft and it’s expansion pack, The Burning Crusade at six and seven, respectively. Mario Party 8 is at eight, Wii Play at nine and Animal Crossing Wild World at ten.
Meanwhile, movie tie-in Ratatouille for DS is at number four in Spain, with the Platinum version of Pro Evolution Soccer 6 at five and SmackDown Vs Raw 2007 at six. Dr. Kawashima’s Brain Training is at six, with Wii counterpart Big Brain Training at eight and Wii Play at nine. Rounding out the Spanish top ten is the PlayStation 2 release of Ratatouille at ten.
With Wii sales in the UK expected to break the one million barrier within the next few weeks, Nintendo’s success shows no signs of slowing down.
