SCEA hires former Sega marketing boss Scott A. Steinberg in wake of David Karraker's resignation.
Scott A. Steinberg, former Marketing Vice President at SEGA of America has been confirmed to replace former PR boss David Karraker at Sony Computer Entertainment America from October 1st.
Steinberg, who has over two decades worth of experience to his name, will be responsible for all assorted software, hardware and channel marketing for the PlayStation brand in North America. His predecessor, Karraker, announced his resignation from the company earlier this month, having spent just over a year with the firm.
Peter Dille, Senior Vice President, Marketing and PlayStation Network, commented "We are thrilled to have Scott join our team as he brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the PlayStation marketing staff and the management group here at SCEA.”
