Polyphony Digital teams up with BBC Worldwide to bring 40 episodes of Top Gear to Gran Turismo TV.
Polyphony Digital and BBC Worldwide have today announced a new deal allowing users to watch episodes of the popular motoring show Top Gear through their PlayStation 3 consoles.
Gamers will be able to view up to 40 episodes of the popular show through the new Gran Turismo TV Channel, which is set to launch some time in early 2008.
Additionally, the BBC also revealed that the ‘Test-Track’ featured in the programme would be implemented in Gran Turismo 5, allowing you to take your favourite motor for a spin just like the TV show’s very own ‘The Stig’.
"We're sure that players will be as thrilled as we are when they get the chance to put their own driving skills to the test on the Top Gear Test Track in GT5, as well as enjoying classic episodes of Top Gear via GT TV”, commented Polyphony Digital’s Kazunori Yamauchi.
Gran Turismo 5 is due out next year exclusively on PlayStation 3.
