Who knows how the whole pirates vs. ninjas rivalry got started to begin with. Whatever the case, though, at least one videogame company is hoping to capitalize on the growing underground war between the one-legged sea-faring marauders and the shadowy, katana-wielding assassins.

Pirates vs. Ninjas Dodgeball for the Xbox 360 will feature five playable teams upon completion. Yesterday, developer Blazing Lizard revealed the third of those teams just in time for Halloween: Zombies. No word yet on how each team will play or what manner of creatures will make up the final two teams. Vampires? Aliens? Ben Stiller and Globo-Gym?
