As you’ll know by now if you’ve been following our recent updates, Sierra Entertainment has confirmed that it is currently developing a brand new videogame based on the popular Ghostbusters film franchise.

As a special treat for fans, Bill Murray, Dan Aykroyd, Harold Ramis, and Ernie Hudson have all confirmed their involvement with the project, which will be hitting stores sometime next year.

Ghostbusters: The Video Game is currently being developed by Terminal Reality for the Xbox 360, Playstation 3 and PC. Red Fly Studios is handling development for the Nintendo DS and Wii.

Yesterday we revealed a brief teaser trailer for the game, but today we have the first set of official, high-resolution screenshots from the 360/PS3/PC version of the game. Check them out by clicking on the thumbnails above!
