Advance Wars: Days of Ruin is the latest instalment in the series and features a decidedly darker tone than its cutesy predecessors. Fortunately for us, however, the new style doesn’t seem to be detracting from the addictive gameplay.

To further enforce the game’s more ‘mature’ visual style, Days of Ruin features a decidedly apocalyptic plot which involves huge meteors, earthquakes and tsunamis devastating the earth and leaving 90% of its population dead.
