Tom Clancy MMO Given Green Light

Ubisoft plans Clancy based MMO.


Just after French publisher, Ubisoft, announced their claim to the name of he who is wartime, espionage, and gunplay action, Tom Clancy, Ubisoft CEO, Yves Guillemot, revealed what he called, "A major step in the development of Ubisoft". He then elaborated on the details that a Tom Clancy MMO is currently been given the green light.

According to Guillemot, the developer has the technology to achieve the great MMO experience, and as soon as they get a good team together, development will begin.

On how this will affect the other Clancy IPs both movie and video game he said, "We can actually, in creating the stories, create new characters, new backgrounds that help us to define those characters for the games and for the future movies," according to industry website, www.gamasutra.com.

Guillemot was reluctant to divulge the actual planned release for the game, he did mention a budget of around $50 million.
