Two packages; one features the instruments, one features the game.
Electronic Arts today announced that Rock Band will be launch across Europe on May 23 as a timed-exclusive for the Xbox 360. Wii, Playstation 3 and Playstation 2 versions are expected to follow during the summer.
The company went on to announce, via Eurogamer, that the game will not be available in a single bundle, as it is in the U.S., but rather in two separate packages – an Instrument Edition and copy of the game itself.
The former, which includes a drum kit, microphone and guitar, will set European gamers back around £129.99/€169, whilst the game will be priced at around £49.99/€69.99, for a total of £180/€240.
For the mathematically minded amongst you, that works at nearly $360 – more than twice the price of the North American bundle, which includes the game and its various peripherals for just $169.
