Gravitronix To Miss WiiWare Launch

Home : News : News Story

Pushed back in order to lower the game's file size.

Posting on the official Medaverse blog earlier this week, J.Lowther noted that that Gravitronix will no longer be released in time for the début of the WiiWare service.

Lowther notes that the reason for the delay is simply that Medaverse is aware of the Wii's storage space limitations and wants to ensure that its game doesn't take up an undue amount of that space.

“Our lead programmer, Robin Larson, decided it would be necessary to build a highly space-conservative engine, a decision which lengthened our development time and a decision I supported,” reads the post.

“This leaves us with a tentative release date of June/July for Gravitronix, but that could still change depending upon how long it takes to fine-tune the gameplay.”
We'll let you know just as soon as an exact release date is confirmed.
