Nintendo today confirmed the release of its long awaited Nintendo Channel for the Wii, which promises to let users “watch trailers, mini-documentaries, product demonstrations, and gameplay videos.”

The channel also allows players to rate Wii games in order to let the community know what they think of them. DS owners can even use the new DS Download Play service to download demos of upcoming games to their handheld.
