Namco Bandai Games this week announced that the succinctly-named PlayStation Portable title, Naruto: Ultimate Ninja Heroes 2: The Phantom Fortress, has now been shipped to retailers across North America.

Ninja Heroes 2 tells the story of a Naruto's quest to overcome a powerful new evil which appears along with a “mysterious ghostly castle” above the peaceful Hidden Leaf Village.

Players can expect more than 20 playable characters, a fully-fledged single player campaign featuring more than 1000 different levels, “fast-paced mini-games” and local wireless multiplayer battles.
