Castle Crashers Hits Xbox Live Arcade

The Behemoth's long-awaited downloadable title arrives.

Independent developer The Behemoth today announced the release of its long-awaited downloadable title, Castle Crashers, via the Xbox Live Arcade.

“Castle Crashers features a unique mix of beat-em-up action along with mild RPG elements letting you hack, slash and smash your way to victory,” reads today's press release.

“For the masochistic, the game also features an "Insane Mode" unlocked after beating the game in regular mode, which is... well… insanely hard!”

Castle Crashers, priced at 1200 Microsoft Points, includes “20 levels, over 40 weapons, more than 20 unlockable characters,” a 4-player deathmatch mode, two free gamerpics, and even a dashboard theme.
