As you can see, there is a lot to be excited about for God of War 2. Sony’s Santa Monica Studio is not taking any huge risks with the established gameplay formula which will put many people at ease, but at the same time will disappoint others looking for a more revolutionary sequel. Regardless of your expectations however, God of War 2 is going to be one hell of a ride when it finally hits shelves next month. You don’t need to take my word for it though, since some retailers are actually giving out free demos of the game if you pre-order it. The demo highlights Kratos’ battle with the Colossus of Rhodes and while you don’t actually get to finish the boss off, the demo is incredibly satisfying and gives us a nice teaser of what’s to come.
