Return to the Tiberium universe in this latest offspring from the granddaddy of all real-time strategy games.
Welcome back, Commander.
The next Command & Conquer game, Command & Conquer 3: Tiberium Wars, is finally nearing release. Of course, there have been way more than two previous Command & Conquer games, but the number three in this title means it's the third full game set in the Tiberium universe (the first being the original Command & Conquer in 1995, followed by 1999's Command & Conquer: Tiberian Sun). The Red Alert series, while awesome, is apparently not in the same universe.

The main two playable factions are back, along with a new one. The Global Defense Initiative (GDI) once again represent the good guys, fielding conventional near-future units such as riflemen, tanks, and aircraft. GDI is designed to be well-rounded, strong in both armor and damage output.
