Konami's reason to buy a PS3.
Perhaps the biggest name in the PlayStation 3 business today, Metal Gear Solid 4 has broken many of the barriers generally set by developers unconsciously. An enormous team (200+), graphics that are on par with CGI films, gameplay functions that are both unheard of and seemingly miraculous…there’s plenty that goes on with this team.

As expected, the game looks phenomenal. We’ve all seen it played at the Tokyo Game Show live. That same demo was playable at E for All, which meant that the line would be incredibly long, and it was. Thankfully that scared some away from it, especially when they heard how few could play it at any given time.
An hour’s wait and six magazines later, we’re sitting inside Konami’s Metal Gear booth. Bean bag chairs litter the ground, one PS3 controller and a pair of headphones sitting on each. The twelve of us sit as we’re lectured about how the game works, what the controls do, how to use them and how we should play.
If there’s any one thing to remember, it’s this: MGS4, like its prequels, is a stealth game. Avoiding enemy detection and bypassing whatever combat takes place in the area is the key to survival. This has not changed, and if anything, has been even more drastically employed now that different modes of fire have been placed in the game.
