Gamers will see more weapons, more options like saved game play films and much more blood. As for new weapons, what we've seen so far are tonfas, a type of scythe and falcon's talons. Gamers who had a favorite weapon in the first offering can rest assured that many of the weapons from the first game will also be available.
With these weapons, gamers will dole out more violence than was seen in the first Ninja Gaiden. The early demos shown have Ryu effortlessly decapitating enemies and literally tearing their limbs to shreds. Some of the action displayed in the demos is absolutely frenetic. So, we believe it's safe to assume that Ninja Gaiden II will carry a Mature rating.

For a title that is to be released in early June, there is still much we don't know about Ninja Gaiden II. Footage so far has shown new bosses, as well as new characters that Ryu will enounter as players progress through the story mode. There have also been hints that a playable demo will be available sometime in May so that gamers can get an early taste of what promises to be "bloody" good action.
