The Elder Scrolls IV: Shivering Isles

Shivering Isles offers a lot more than the standard expansion pack also.  The Extraction Point expansion to Sierra's F.E.A.R., for example, offered about eight additional hours of play.  Shivering Isles has got you looking at least thirty more hours in this fabulous world if you attempt to tackle all the side quests and extras (something you'll probably want to do).

I think this guy taught at my parochial school.

The game is available for the Xbox 360 as well as the PC (a PS3 version of Oblivion was recently released, so we can probably expect Shivering Isles to show up there as well) and the game is excellent on either platform.  If you have Oblivion on both you may want to go with the 360 downloadable version of Shivering Isles to get your teeth into the 250 juicy new Achievement points that version offers.  Otherwise there is no difference between the two and Shivering Isles is one expansion that everyone who has played Oblivion needs to experience.

Highs
Another thirty or so hours questing in the world of Oblivion, one of the greatest RPGs ever; graphics, sound, and story all combine to provide one of the greatest gaming experiences available today; the first expansion that I've played which actually makes the game better than it already was.

Lows
There are no lows that I can think of - there is no reason not to play this game if you already have Oblivion.

Final Verdict
Bethesda came close to the perfect RPG when they released The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion. With Shivering Isles they may have achieved the perfect expansion.
