Surprise puzzler hit for the Wii.
It isn’t often that we get a good game to play on the Wii. As many of us who’ve had the privilege to play many games on the Wii have complained, the majority of titles are either sets of minigames or ports from other systems. In light of this, Zack and Wiki: Quest for Barbaros’ Treasure is a breath not only of fresh air, but of clean, almost mint-flavored goodness. Something to savor. The fact that you play as a pirate only rubs it in.

Zack, our fledging pirate and protagonist, is out searching for treasure so he can, become the greatest pirate. Sounds like One Piece? It should, the premise is practically identical in terms of the story, and the characters even look similar. Wiki, cleverly named for those familiar with the popular web encyclopedia, is Zack’s escort, weapon and game manual.
Having found the skull of the greatest pirate to have ever lived, Barbaros, Zack and Wiki must search to find all the missing pieces of Barbaros. Once they find his complete skeleton, made kid-friendly by being made purely of gold and jewels, Barbaros promises to show them to his great pirate ship and help them find his treasure.
